Instructions

  1. Start by vacuuming the carpet and open the windows to allow the room to air.
  2. Turn the bag upside down and pull of both sealing strips from the bottom. Hold the bag by the handle and shake to distribute the powder evenly across the carpet.
  3. Work in powder with brush and allow to completely dry (approx. 20 mins).
  4. Completely vacuum up dried powder. After use, reseal the bag using the adhesive tag.

Instructions

  1. Shake the can well and spray from an 80cm height over the area that needs treating.
  2. Work in the foam using a colourfast clean brush or a clean damp mop/sponge. Leave for 2 hours, or until dry.

Instructions

  1. Spray the product onto the stain area and rub in gently with a clean cloth.
  2. Let it soak in for up to 5 minutes and then blot.
  3. Blot the stains and remove excess product. If the stain is particularly tough or dried in, repeat steps 1 and 2.

How to clean a rug

How you clean your rug will depend on what it’s made of. To clean a rug made from carpet-like material simply use Vanish Carpet & Upholstery Gold Powder in exactly the same way as you would with a normal carpet!

If your rug is made of another, more delicate material, such as brocade or velvet, you’ll need to act more carefully. Start by hoovering the rug on both sides to get rid of dust and debris, then spot clean the rug using a mild mixture of soapy water.
